Polymer modification for bioprocesses.

Within the first subject we have developed different modifications on porous polymers, such as micro and ultrafiltration membranes, and sintered open-pore foams, to confer protein adsorptive properties. These materials can be used for recovery and purification of proteins with high productivity and efficiency. Adsorptive membrane systems are presented as chromatographic systems developing high productivity downstream processes.
